Bradley Nowell

Bradley Nowell was a prodigiously talented musician whose indelible influence on the alternative music scene continues to resonate decades after his untimely passing. Born on February 22, 1968, in Long Beach, California, Nowell grew up in a musical household that fostered his passion for diverse sounds—everything from the rock and reggae of the 1970s to the burgeoning punk scene that would come to define his musical career.

From an early age, Nowell exhibited an affinity for music, learning guitar with an unusual precocity that hinted at his future as a songwriter and frontman.
